Our Story
GhanaInvest was founded in 2008 by a group of financial experts who recognized a critical gap in Ghana's investment landscape. In the midst of rising inflation rates and economic volatility, our founders - Dr. Kwame Osei, Abena Mensah, and Joseph Addo - saw that everyday Ghanaians lacked access to investment strategies that could effectively protect their hard-earned savings from inflation.
What began as a small consultancy in Accra with just five team members has grown into a nationwide presence with offices in Kumasi, Takoradi, and Tamale. Throughout our journey, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to democratizing access to investment knowledge and opportunities for Ghanaians from all walks of life.

Dr. Kwame Osei
CEO & Founder
With over 25 years of experience in financial markets across Africa, Dr. Osei holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and previously served as an advisor to the Bank of Ghana.
His groundbreaking research on inflation-resistant investment strategies in developing economies has been published in leading financial journals and informs our core investment philosophy.
Abena Mensah
Chief Investment Officer
Abena brings 18 years of investment management expertise, having previously led portfolio strategies at one of Ghana's largest pension funds and worked with Goldman Sachs in London.
She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is renowned for her innovative approach to creating diversified investment portfolios that consistently outperform inflation in volatile markets.
Kofi Boateng
Head of Sustainable Investments
Kofi leads our sustainable investment initiatives, bringing 12 years of experience in impact investing and ESG analysis from his work with the African Development Bank and private equity firms.
He holds a Master's in Sustainable Finance from Sciences Po Paris and has pioneered several award-winning green investment vehicles that deliver both environmental impact and inflation-beating returns.
Esther Addo
